
Here is one I did recently as a gift. Babies are hard to draw. They kind of all look "the same" in certain ways, so you have to be careful to make it look like the baby, not just a baby. I'm thinking of different ways I can do more portraits without just painting people I know, which seems like the easy way out, and also not very interesting (to others). I'll be posting up some more soon...
Also, I've been checking out the nature-inspired watercolours of Walton Ford. Google him and check out his many amazing works, most of which are apparently done on giant pieces of WC paper. Below are a few examples:
